SECTIONALS TRAINING WEEK DETAILS: The Sectionals training week is a “Can’t Miss” training week for any player who is participating in Sectionals. The 2.5 hours of daily training will be customized to prepare for the biggest junior tournament of the year in Northern California. In addition, for the 16’s and 18’s players, this is a fantastic way to get ready at the main site of the tournament, which will be Santa Clara University. The training will be a perfect mixture of drills, fitness, and match play to fine tune each player. Our goal is to give our participants an competitive edge going into this tournament. We will be limiting the enrollment of these weeks to ensure superior quality. The Sectionals Training Week is a perfect way to start the Summer of 2010! POWER WEEK DETAILS: We are excited to announce our Power Weeks of Training for this upcoming summer. The Power Week’s of training will be at held at West Valley and the training times will be 10:30am-4:30pm. We will have a coach present at West Valley at 9:30am to provide for convenient early drop-offs.
Each day will be broken up into a morning session (10:30am-1:00pm) and an afternoon session (2:30pm-4:30pm) . Typically, drilling will be done during the morning sessions, while the afternoons will be reserved for match play and various segments. Segments include video analysis (Dartfish), fitness (core, shoulders, agility, endurance, leg strengthening), nutrition talk, mental toughness talk, and strategy discussions. Each training group will experience different segments each afternoon so that by the end of the Power Week, each player will participate in abundant match play and will complete every segment. We are particularly excited about the Dartfish video analysis, which will be done by Tony Yang, our Director of Video Analysis and Production.
These weeks are professional style training weeks and are an excellent way to train during the summer. The week is not designed to totally fatigue a player, rather to prepare players for a busy tournament season. SIGN UP EARLY as we are limiting the numbers. WE WILL SELL OUT!
